The critical point

The measuring tape has a unique elastic characteristic. It is solid, but beyond a critical point it collapses. A sequence of movements beyond the critical point create chaotic disintegration in space.

Bending light

The works simulate the bending of light itself around its critical point.

Visual ecohing

The UV light and stickers create visual echoing effect. The stickers emit the light gradually. The sustain causes a point in motion to create lines, several points in motion create a noisy, chaotic 3D space.

One Dimension Meditation

The artist who creates the movement is in a meditative state, moving the tapes beyond their critical point, creating a random visual dismantling.

The artist's subconscious is influenced by the chaotic whispering space, a feedback effect occurs, a fractal. This circular processes creates a spiral dizziness in the system, the fractals deceive the artist, it is as if the tapes are alive and autonomous. The artist experiences a state of a trance.
